ALPS® Prosthetic Cleanser is a non-alkaline, soap-free cleanser designed for prosthesis users with sensitive skin. ALPS® Prosthetic Cleanser is intended to remove dirt and excess perspiration from prosthetic liners. Its unique formula can be used effectively both for hand washing and in a washing machine, cleaning items thoroughly and helping restore them to their original condition.

  • Maintaining good hygiene and using a prosthetic cleanser helps reduce the risk of infection, especially with sensitive or damaged skin. Thorough daily cleaning of the residual limb and prosthetic accessories helps keep viruses and bacteria away. Imagine you have been at work for 8–10 hours and when you get home you just want to rest and feel comfortable. Before ending the day, however, you first need to wash your prosthetic accessories to remove sweat, sebum and dirt accumulated during the day. It is also very important to wash the residual limb every evening after wearing the prosthesis.
    ALPS® Prosthetic Cleanser is made with a non-irritating, skin-soothing cleansing formula that is especially suitable for sensitive skin. After rinsing or towel-drying, the skin feels clean and healthy. Thanks to the gentle formula it can also be used on skin areas that come into contact with the prosthesis. The cleanser is safe to use with all prosthetic sleeves and liners. 100% free from soap and colourants that can be aggressive. Balanced pH: the non-alkaline silicone-based formula soothes the skin and does not damage the liner.
  • Directions for use:
    ALPS® Prosthetic Cleanser is ideal for daily (evening) cleaning of prosthetic accessories and can be used with or without water. Gently wash both the residual limb and the prosthetic accessories with the same cleanser. Apply a sufficient amount of ALPS cleanser to the residual limb and clean gently, removing excess with a clean dry cloth. Turn the prosthetic liner inside out and pour a generous amount of ALPS cleanser into it. No rubbing is needed — simply dry with a clean towel. Avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse with plenty of water.

    Water, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Ammonium Laureth-4 Sulfate, Cocamidopropylamine Oxide, Cocamidopropylamine Betaine, Nonoxynol-10.
  • Storage conditions:
    Store your Alps cleanser bottle in a cool, dry place. The product expires 12 months after opening.
