Custom insoles
Custom insoles
We hand-make high-quality custom insoles that support the foot where it is needed and help reduce foot fatigue and load on the joints and spine.
Digital foot scan
For the best result we recommend starting an insole order with a digital foot scan, which thoroughly maps the peculiarities of the foot and how load is distributed on the soles.
Insoles by foam-box impression
we make custom insoles using a foam-box impression: we take an accurate mould of the foot so the finished insole fits the shape of the foot perfectly.
100% handmade
Our insoles are made entirely by hand.
Services
Custom insoles with a foot scan
A digital foot scan identifies problem areas of the foot very precisely. Based on the results we can make custom insoles that take the foot’s characteristics into account and help distribute load as optimally as possible.
You can choose between two types of scan: a digital static scan or a digital comprehensive scan.
The scan, including consultation with the specialist, takes about 30 minutes, and you receive the load-distribution images immediately.
Digital static scan – €17
We perform the foot scan using the Rohtballer 2D Scanner Highspeed system. The scan helps identify problem areas of the foot and choose the right insoles and footwear.
During the scan the client stands on a footscan® plate, which creates a static image of weight distribution on the soles. Before measurement the system is set up for the client and their body weight.
Digital comprehensive scan – €25
The comprehensive scan includes walking on the footscan plate, which allows gait analysis and real-time tracking of load changes on the sole and movement of the centre of gravity.
At the same appointment impressions of the soles can be taken, from which the specialist can start making the insoles.
Custom insoles without a foot scan
Insoles can also be made without a prior foot scan. In that case we take an accurate mould of the client’s sole and make custom insoles based on it.
Making insoles without a scan is more affordable and is suitable for milder complaints. For more serious complaints the foot should still be examined more thoroughly.
